Connecting recession-hit families with immediate answers

Dear Neighbors,

Thank you for taking the time to share your questions, comments and concerns.

We’re in tough economic times, and families and individuals are struggling to make ends meet. That’s why I've launched a series of interactive community meetings to address topics that currently effect our lives and will continue to come up in the near future.

Where can I go when I’m no longer on the Basic Health Plan? How will I be able to send my son to college? Are there any job opportunities for me? These are all questions I’ve heard in the 37 District, and I want to provide you with access to immediate answers.

Meeting topics are currently generated by constituent feedback via email. In addition to the June 1 health care meeting, I've arranged upcoming meetings on education, as well as employment and finances.

All community access meetings are free and open to the public. For a schedule of upcoming meeting topics, locations and more, please view the calendar above.
