Washington House Democrats

I am a member of the Appropriations Committee, as well as the Appropriations Subcommittee on Education, and I chair the Community & Economic Development & Trade Committee, but my legislative interests are really as diverse as the wonderful communities I serve.

My work as a representative is a commitment to the well-being of those for whom Washington is home, and it reflects the values of the people I serve: respect for the rights of working families, quality and affordable health care, compassion for the less fortunate among us, respect for a diverse community and devotion to the values that made America great.
