Hello. Thank you for stopping by my Web page today!

It is my tremendous good fortune to serve as one of your state representatives for our 49th Legislative District. It’s certainly an honor and privilege to help represent the communities and neighborhoods of our Southwest Washington region.

I hope you’ll find that this legislative information and other materials is interesting – and most of all, helpful. Please feel free to contact me about anything. I will do everything I can to help you.

My committee assignments to a great extent dictate the direction in which I’ll focus most of my legislative attention. I was honored to be selected vice chair of the Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee, for one thing, and I also received appointments to the Capital Budget Committee and the Technology, Energy & Communications Committee. Beyond these issues, the 2009 legislative session must discuss:

As I noted above, I certainly always welcome your thoughts. Becky Hellman, my legislative assistant, and I look forward to hearing your opinions about these and other matters.

Sincerely yours,

State Representative
49th Legislative District
