Welcome to the site dedicated to the 11th Legislative District. Here, you’ll be able to keep current on issues affecting our community, as well as the legislative action I’m focused on while in Olympia.   

In recent years we’ve made extraordinary progress on issues important to our community – building a stronger economy, improving our schools, and increasing access to quality health care. I will continue to focus on creating jobs through initiatives like a balanced state budget and clean energy, while creating opportunity through education.  Making government work well is my goal. 

I strongly believe in the power of each individual in our democracy and encourage every citizen to exercise that power.  

It’s an exciting time – we stand on the edge of a digital revolution when it comes to open and accessible government. Not only can you renew a license online, you can track the latest bill drafts throughout the legislative process and lobby your legislator from your laptop or a local library computer. 

Utilizing my career experience in the tech industry, I’ll try to provide as much new content here as possible. Whether it’s a post to my blog from a committee room, a podcast from under the dome, or a video clip from the House Floor, I’ll keep you informed of my goings-on throughout the legislative session.
